…Flambe
Not really. Even tho it’s late in the day, I still have no idea what F should be for.
Betsy suggested: “family, friends, freelancing, fibromyalgia, forks (as in forks in the road), freedom, feelings, felines, French fries, facebook, freebies, frisbees, flying, focus, Formulas, farming, frustration, Firefly.”
Okay, so, I have some great friends (especially Betsy), even if I haven’t been out to see any of them in forever, because, well, see the D post, and I’m too tired to write about freelancing (which I’ve done for years), and I’m definitely too tired to write about the #invisibleIllness that is fibromyalgia (yay! pain always!). I could write about felines (after all, I have two and adore them, plus the dog who thinks she’s a cat, or thinks they are dogs, or something), and although worthy, I just am too tired and worn out to write about the other topics. Nothing in particular springs to mind on any of them. (Tho, Firefly! Go watch it already if you never have! Immediately!)
Gareth, my #AtoZChallenge2015 partner, suggested: “Fame? Flying? Faces? Fun?” (He wrote about “Feist and the Foo Fighting Fleetwoods!” for today.) (Which reminds me, Gareth and I both really love Fleetwood Mac, especially their song “Big Love“, which I can play over and over and over and over again. Hubs and I even have a few of their albums as actual, erm, albums. Ya know, vinyl. And when hubs set up our record player in our new house, Fleetwood Mac was the first album that took a spin on the turntable.)
Fame seems like a big topic, flying is fun (see what I did there?), and Faces? What the heck would I say about that? Except, did you ever hear about people born without faces? Yeah, a true thing. Sad and weird. And there are people who can’t recognize faces, which has got to be super-weird because that’s how we know who in the heck is talking to us. Or waving at us.
That disease is called “prosopagnosia” (say that three times fast) or ‘face blindness’. Apparently, one of the ‘notable cases’ (per Wikipedia) is a dude named Chuck Close, an artist who is known for painting …wait for it… (aw, crap, I’m channeling Barney Stinson from How I Met Your Mother)Β faces!
So you see, I have no idea what to write about… except, huh. Whaddyaknow? I’ve think I’ve actually written a blog post. It may be the most rambly and disjointed one I’ve ever written, but hey – you should expect that from me; it’s in my very blog title: dSavannah *RAMBLES*.
Hope you’ll come back tomorrow for G: #GNUTerryPratchett. (Not that I’ve started even writing it yet…)

I love, love, love Fleetwood Mac!!! I like it when you ramble…I learn something new each time I read your rambles. Ramble on…..Love ya!

Aw, thank you! π
FIREFLY!!!!!!!!
I swear by my pretty floral bonnet…
Ramble away! I learned so much. I didn’t know people were born without faces and now I’m totally intrigued with an artist that paints what he can’t see. If I have time (maybe in May) I’m going to google him π

I’m glad you enjoyed and learned something!
This A to Z Challenge has been…challenging. I understand invisible illnesses. I have several (2 from birth) and I am under 40. I started the challenge a week after leaving the hospital. FUN! So, just take it as a good sign that you have something to say and are keeping to the commitment you made for yourself. You’re doing a great job.

Thanks for stopping by, Stormie. I’m sorry to hear you’re an #II sufferer too. π But good for you for doing the challenge, despite the, erm, challenges!
*trots over to read your blog*
Superbly written and a creative coup:)
