Although I have always been creative, my first love is writing. I've been writing ever since I could pick up a pen (or pencil, or crayon), and have identified myself as a writer ever since I can remember.
When I entered grad school, I had to let my writing go for a bit, and when I graduated after writing an extensive (and exhausting) thesis, I was afraid my muse had moved out. Lucky for us all, she moved back in, and is currently inspiring me in all my creative endeavors.

I'm a good writer, but I'm an even better editor. And, yes, I'm a nerd, so I LOVE editing. I can spot a typo at a hundred paces, maybe even a thousand. Error on a TV spot? I see it, and I giggle. I've been known to edit menus. While dining. At that restaurant. (I can't help myself!) Very few things irk me more than seeing a character's name misspelled in a book, or the misuse of to/too/two and its/it's. As a bibliophile and lover of words (and grammar), I'm uniquely qualified to edit your baby and make it sing.
