I Mustache You Some Questions

So, Mark Ethridge tagged me for the Mustache Survey (or the “Four Answers” survey), which is also going around Facebook, and I decided to play along on this here blog. Here’s my answered survey. And yeah, I’m sure you were DYING to know my answers. You’re welcome.   Four Names People Call Me Other Than My Real Name: Kitten (hubs calls me that, or Sea Spook) Dr. Jorge (my students called me that; tho I am not a Doctor, nor do I play one on TV) Cakes (long story) Grandma Moses (due to my crocheting; it was a mean thing kids called me long ago) Four Jobs I’ve Had: Floral department at Winn-Dixie (grocery store); also deli, where I made all the signs and created … Continue reading

Z is for…

Z

…Zee End Yeah, I know it’s kinda cheating to say that, but I did it last year too, and I didn’t get smacked by the Blogging from A to Z people, so since I’m completely gobsmacked exhausted, I’m sticking with it. Because, yeah, here we are at “Z” end of the April blogging challenge. There were times I didn’t think I’d make it. Times I’d wrack my brain and worry I wouldn’t have a single thing to write about, and even tho I was late some days (which made my deadline-loving self twitch), I still wrote something for every letter. Maybe not anything good, but still. Wrote. Something. For the Z topic, Kyle suggested I write about “Zingiberaceous”, but since I can’t pronounce it and … Continue reading

Life. Work. The pursuit of ways to support my eating habit. {In other news, I’m accepting applications for a patron… } As you are more than well aware, for the month of April, I participated in the #AtoZchallenge2014, writing 26 posts corresponding with the 26 letters of the alphabet. Per my usual, I basically just rambled with no rhyme or reason or plan or, in some cases, actually having a coherent thought. For this endeavor, I had a partner to cheer me on: Chad Clark. Unlike myself, Chad had … Continue reading

M is for…

M

Unless my counting skills are waaaaay off, which is possible, M is the 13th letter of the alphabet, which means I have made it half-way through this here #AtoZchallenge2014 challenge. YAY me! Sadly, once again, I had a complete and utter blank mind when it came to figure out a topic for this illustrious letter ~ I had really hoped when I signed up for the challenge to find partners who might come up with ideas for with me ~ but alas, that was not to be. (Although I could copy my partner Chad Clark and say M is for Monsters, but he’s pretty well got that covered.) So of course, in situations like this, one consults one’s bestie for ideas, and she came up … Continue reading
