Book launch for The Wolves of Dynamo by Gareth S. Young

This is Gareth.

As y’all know, I’ve been sick, and my illness(es) mean that I’m chronically fatigued and can’t focus on much. Even on books. Which sucks, since I’ve always been a huge reader, and not being able to read is quite the … {insert bad word of your choice}. So my pal Gareth S. Young sent me an ARC of his book, The Wolves of Dynamo, a few weeks back. An electronic document. This is important for you to know for a couple reasons: 1) although I have a Kindle, I pretty much just use it for playing games and 2) I have innumerable books for Kindle that I haven’t read. Which leads to: 3) I uploaded the book to my Kindle, and idly started reading it, … Continue reading

Cover Reveal: Wrath & Bones by A.J. Aalto

As usual, I’m a day late and (thousands of) dollar short: I was supposed to publish this Cover Reveal *yesterday*, and after I BEGGED the author, A.J. Aalto, to do a cover reveal. Sigh. (And hangs my head in shame.) But, as usual, life happened, so here I am, finally revealing the cover I begged to show. I know A.J. from Facebook (not IRL; she lives in Canada), and I find her to be a hilarious and awesome individual. To get her writing done, she gets up at 4am. That’s about when I’m going to sleep, usually. We have lots of fun sparring and chatting on Facebook. If we got together in person, you’d probably need to call the SWAT team on us. (I kid, … Continue reading

Cover Reveal for author Troy Aaron Ratliff!!!

Troy Aaron Ratliff

I am pleased and honored to be able to help reveal the cover for author Troy Aaron Ratliff‘s first novel, Do I Bother You at Night?, which will be released on October 4, 2013. The book is a blend of Horror and Science-Fiction with literary themes and in a literary style. Here’s the blurb: They say nothing ever happens in Kansas.  Sylvester Petersen used to think so too.  That is, until a mysterious new neighbor moves in next door, seemingly out of nowhere.  His handful of friends – people who tried to help him cope with the sudden death of his wife – think that it might be an opportunity for him to get reacquainted with the world outside his farmhouse and to build a new … Continue reading
